How big must a car really be?

How many people can you see sitting in their cars during the daily rush hours?
One, or (as exception)  two people?

That means: three to four needless seats vacant in each car and a car weight of
one to two tons to take one person to work, and that almost every day of working!

for most of your daily short range trips (work, station, buying).

In comparison with your scooter you will find it much better -  because you will no
